Answer |
01 |
Yes It’s important for that everyone understands that Autism is an umbrella term that explains and define the autism spectrum. Such as mild moderate and severe autism as well as mentioning Aspergers |
02 |
No Autism is NOT A DISEASE. The NHS description is better:Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is the name for a range of similar conditions, including Asperger syndrome, that affect a person's social interaction, communication, interests and behaviour. |
03 |
Not sure NHS varies and local organisations meaning MENCAP would be perfect as their support with Autism is amamzong. |
04 |
Not sure I personally think that this bill should include health professionals who work along side those who have autism as they are the experts. Also it would be great to include parents as every person with autism Is different |
05 |
Ausitksmstrtegy should look st different ways of supporting people with autism and as said before endure that there is support for the parents as well as the individual involved. |
06 |
3 months is not enough time. Unless they already have the experts and parents on board |
07 |
The law should be detailed and through to include everyone on the autism spectrum and ensure that there is support for the parents. 3months after as long as parents are allowed to have their say before its published. |
08 |
That would be two long unless the NICE guidelines are updated in a yearly basis |
09 |
No 2 months is too long it should happen within a week - what support does the parents get within the two months of waiting?! |
10 |
Yes Parents and public as well as other health care professionals should be aware of who is involved in the child develop into adulthood and beyond |
11 |
Learning disability team Autism -specialist nurse or counsellor Care manager |
12 |
Lack of support from the local council Lack of knowledge from parents and other health care professional Lack of or no communication between parents and healthcare professionals Lack of promotion about services available ie internet, billboards, posters |
13 |
Yes |
14 |
Yes as this will help future parents and generation understand he different individuals who get diagnosed with autism and how long it takes to get a diagnosis as well what support is available |
15 |
It should be written in the guidance. |
16 |
Yes Organisation should work together to provide the best support for the individuals with autism and their parents |
17 |
It should happen all the time. Diagnosis are made all the time and every three years can encourage parents and their child to get involved and make friends with other people Going through the same thing |
18 |
It will be good as it needs to happen |
